In the working process of colloid mill equipment, the parts in contact with each other will inevitably produce friction when they are in relative motion, which will lead to wear, reduce the mechanical efficiency of the equipment, increase the energy consumption and significantly reduce the production capacity. According to the statistical data, about 80% of the parts of colloidal mill fail due to wear, so it is very important to use colloid mill correctly, otherwise it will have a serious impact on production and even safety.
There is wear in the whole process of colloid mill equipment from the beginning of operation to its damage and scrapping, and the wear amount and wear rate are obviously different in different stages. From the basic change of wear, we divide the wear situation into three stages.
1. Primary grinding stage: it is also called running in stage or running in stage. It appears on the newly assembled or repaired friction surface, the friction time is short, the wear speed is fast and the wear amount is large. At this stage, the bumps on the rough surface of the new fit are smoothed quickly, and the contact surface achieves good running in. This is the stage that any kind of machinery must exist in the process of operation.
2. Stable wear stage: it is also called natural wear stage or normal wear stage. The wear in this stage is inevitable under the normal working conditions of the parts. It is characterized by long wear time, low wear speed and stable wear amount. It belongs to the normal wear stage of colloidal mill.
3. Severe wear stage: it is also called accident wear stage. This is formed when the surface clearance of the parts exceeds the maximum allowable clearance, but the impact increases during the operation of the parts, and the effective lubricating oil film cannot be achieved. It is characterized by sharp increase of wear speed and wear amount, sharp rise of friction surface temperature and abnormal noise and vibration. If not handled in time, accidents will occur, so it is called accident wear stage.
